DigiPlat - Tool

The daily processes of short-term energy markets play a critical role in procuring the majority of consumed power. Ensuring sufficient supply to meet system needs is complex, requiring energy flexibility to balance actual provision and demand, while also resolving potential congestion of constrained line capacities in advance.

As part of our project, we developed new digital solutions to enhance the interoperability of flexibility platforms across ICT, economic, and process-related dimensions. This involved a detailed investigation of the daily workflow of flexibility procurement. Additionally, we created an agent-based model leveraging modern AI techniques to analyze strategic behaviors, simulate market dynamics, and validate novel market designs aimed at improving these processes.

The tool provided below supports understanding the existing workflows and offers insights into alternative scenarios we explored, including detailed descriptions and model outcomes accessible via PDF. You can navigate through the various steps of gate opening and closing times (GOT/GCT) across different markets and track the transmission of bids and information between stakeholders.
